This is my research
I was playing Pokemon Emerald, when I went to the museum and I found this painting, is more than clear.
In the dialog says
¨ It's a painting of a legendary POKéMON from long ago. The artist painted this from imagination. ¨
Clearly you can see a Xerneas (in neutral form) to Yveltal and finally to a yellow pokemon
I guess it was the old design zygarde
this is a wholly-owned research.

The colors sort of match for Xerneas and Yveltal, but not at all for Zygarde (and contrary to the blatantly false statements you've passed of as fact in response to some other comments, Shiny Zygarde is not yellow). Many other Legendary Pokémon also have such color schemes.
Maybe the dithering on the blue one could be seen as VAGUELY similar to Xerneas' horns (and even so, that's really not what the horns look like).
Literally nothing else even vaguely resembles them, including the body shape, which is kind of an important feature of these three given that they're shaped like letters (which, incidentally, could fairly easily be represented in such a small space when they're already being simplified so much anyway).
